Hi, I'm Anwar. For the past few years I've been the engineer remote startups in Canada, the US and Norway call when an idea needs to become real software. I like owning the whole thing, from the database to the screen, and lately the AI features in between.

I work best as a long-term partner rather than a pair of hands. I keep communication clear and predictable, deliver what I commit to, and take ownership of outcomes, not just tickets. Because I invest in understanding the product and the people using it, clients often bring me in early: to shape how a feature should work, to weigh trade-offs, or to decide what to build next.

Most days you'll find me in TypeScript and Python, working with Next.js, React Native, NestJS, Django and FastAPI. I'm open to remote roles and contract work, and I'm easy to reach by email.
